For those that do want to venture further however Elviria is one of the most popular areas in Marbella and is known for its charming centre with a wide-selection of restaurants and supermarkets.  Within a short drive you can reach Marbella old town or Fuengirola, both offering lively bars, plenty of restaurants and a variety of shops.  Beaches and family entertainment including water parks, water sports and animal parks are nearby and of course being an area famous for golf there are plenty of golf courses to choose from.
